Join us for an exciting day trip to both the North Carolina Arboretum & the town of Black Mountain! Participants will have the opportunity to tour at their own pace the grounds of the Arboretum and see acres of cultivated gardens as well as art exhibits. Later in the afternoon we will visit the town of Black Mountain where participants will have time for lunch on their own and time to tour the town. Afterwards, we will stop at Lake Tomahawk Park in Black Mountain where we will meet with Black Mountain Parks & Rec for a leisurely-paced walk around the park as they inform us about the park as well as their town. NOTE: We have enabled the Wait List for this trip. If we reach a minimum of #5 participants on the wait list, we will contact those on it about registering, and we will take a second vehicle if we have #5 participants register.
